I used a brush-pen for the black lines. Do you think they are too bold? I quite liked the result, but it wouldn't be good for detailed drawings life the previous 2 images I posted (same evening, same model, just pencil).
Thank you. I am more gestural, so I use squiggly lines and scratches. I've never been the type to use a few defined lines to say what I want. I hope that print making will help me be more selective. You can't erase a wood carving.

But I do love simple and precise lines. That's probably why I love comics so much.

Carving scares me a lot! But it's definitely a challenge and it will improve your skills a lot!
